All About the Learning Discovery Centre
The Learning Discovery Centre is a leading edge venue for learning just outside Northampton town centre. It was created to transform learning for all learners in Northamptonshire.
The Learning Discovery Centre is the base for a team of e-learning and ICT consultants. Our e-learning consultants are skilled and experienced teachers with a passion for the innovative and exciting use of ICT for learning. Our ICT Consultant combines technical experience and a wide range of multimedia skills.
The Learning Discovery Centre team was formed by Northampton County Council in 2003. We moved into our purpose-refurbished centre on the edge of town in 2005. We work with schools across the county, both at the centre and in school.
Our approach to transforming learning takes many forms. It could be using new technologies to support and enhance learning, or looking at new approaches to use existing resources more effectively.
Our flexible approach to work with schools enables us to tailor exciting challenge and activity days, courses, and staff Continuing Professional Development training, to fit your exact needs.
